Exhibition - The Last Gleanings
The Last Gleanings by Jules Breton (1827–1906) is now installed over the mantel in the dining room at Clayton, thanks to a temporary loan from The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. The Last Gleanings is in Pittsburgh for at least the third time in its history, since it was also borrowed in 1997 to be part of the exhibition Collecting in the Gilded Age: Art Patronage in Pittsburgh, 1890-1910.
