Teacher Open House: Fabric of Society — Teaching Culture and History through Clothing
Educators are invited to tour the exhibition Undressed: A History of Fashion in Underwear, take part in related activities, and gather classroom-ready ideas and inspiration on the use of clothing as tool for teaching concepts in the areas of art, culture, and history. Teachers wishing to earn two Act 48 Activity Hours must arrive no later than 4:00 p.m. and complete an independent on-site activity packet on object-based learning with a focus on clothing as a historic object.
