H. C. Frick Horseless Carriage Road Rally 2010

Calling all driving enthusiasts! The fourth annual

H. C. Frick Horseless Carriage Road Rally will take place on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12, 2010.

The H. C. Frick Horseless Carriage Road Rally is the perfect event for all types of car enthusiasts. Plan to take your sports car, vintage vehicle or daily driver on this year's tour.

Scenic back roads, good food and friendly competition are hallmarks of this annual event, which begins Sunday morning, September 12 at the historic Pantall Hotel in Punxsutawney and ends at the Car and Carriage Museum at the Frick in Pittsburgh.

Start lining up your fun-loving friends now—any group of four or more cars signing up together (from car clubs to book clubs) can compete for a custom trophy! This event includes breakfast, lunch en route and drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the end.

About Road Rallies
Road rallies are almost as old as the automobile itself. Rallyists use written instructions to follow a predetermined course along paved roads at legal speeds. Awards are given for the timed rally in experienced and novice classes, and in the observation-based Games class.

Awards
Trophies will be awarded in three categories: Timed Novice, Timed Experienced and Games.

The Frick will provide a custom trophy to the top finishing team of any group of four or more cars entered together in a single class. Groups including SCCA regions, owners clubs, sports car clubs, or other social organizations may enter.

Saturday Accommodations
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Pantall Hotel at discounted rates ranging from $49 to $75, plus tax. Contact the hotel directly at (800) 872-6825 and mention the Frick Rally rate.

Entry Fees
Entry fees are per car and include rally school, Sunday breakfast at the Pantall Hotel, lunch en route, and the award ceremony and reception at the Frick.

Rates are $150 per car for members and
$165 per car for non-members.

Additional passengers are always $45 each.

Final entry deadline is August 31
