Free for members; $7 non-members; advance registration recommended.
Description:
Enjoy a guided walk through the heart of the Frick grounds, exploring how the site has changed during its evolution from a private estate to a public museum. Discover the Frick then—through the histories of the site’s buildings and their connections to the Frick family and their neighbors—and learn more about the site now, including the wide variety of experiences with art, history, and nature that await you.
Exploring The Frick Pittsburgh, Then and Now
These 30-minute guided tours take place completely outdoors and will not enter any of the buildings on site. Tours begin outside the Grable Visitor Center and conclude outside of Clayton. The tour route is wheelchair accessible. Tours take place rain or shine. To maintain social distancing, tours are limited to eight participants. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.
