Meet at the Grable Vistor Center.

Visit the Frick Family home and experience Christmas in the Gilded Age. This year’s tour traces the evolution of the most popular Christmas pastimes, most of which developed over the course of the nineteenth century.

Enjoy the sounds of strolling carolers performing traditional carols and holiday favorites around the Frick's cheerful grounds.

Walk through the first two floors of Clayton at your own pace to see holiday decorations and hear stories of Christmas traditions.

Community Room

Join Yoga Factory for an all-levels yoga flow class and guided tour of Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage & Screen. Start the holidays with a gift for yourself: wind down, decompress, and stretch. After this reenergizing class and a warm holiday beverage, you’ll be ready to start gift shopping for others with a 20% discount in The Museum Store.

Make the start of your season a little more artful with the annual staff art sale and additional holiday cheer this year! While on site, enjoy the sounds of strolling carolers, or pop into The Frick Art Museum to hear the festive Quartz Quartet.

Join Dawn R. Brean, Associate Curator of Decorative Arts of the Frick Pittsburgh, and Lisa Auel, Manager of Audience Education & Archives at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, for a lively conversation about producing Pittsburgh's favorite holiday traditions—A Gilded Age Christmas at Clayton and PBT's dazzling The Nutcracker.
$10 Frick members and PBT subscribers; $12 non-members and guests; advance registration and pre-payment required.

Grable Visitor Center

Ring in the afternoon with handbell soloist, Sue Garton, and her accompanist, Mary Rita Rossetti, performing old favorites along with a few holiday surprises.

Education Center

Join us for our annual celebration of the season as your family enjoys holiday art making and interactive tours. Design a dazzling ornament or create a gift tag to help spread holiday joy, and try your hand at our holiday timeline. Take away not only your charming creations, but also memories of a fun afternoon together. Young recording artist/songwriter Antolena will be performing holiday favorites in the Grable Visitor Center from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Free for all ages.

Special Bonus!
Add a Clayton family tour to your Cool Yule experience. Family-friendly tours are offered at 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Tours are free to children ages 16 and under and to member adults; regular tour rates apply for non-member adults. Tours are most appropriate for children ages 6 and up. Advance reservations required. Call 412.342.4087 to reserve your tickets.

C Street’s Wintry Mix is a greatest hits of holiday fun with some additional favorites mixed in. C Street Brass guides the audience through a variety of holiday music from the Renaissance period through 20th century jazz.

Enjoy pictureque views of the Frick's festive grounds while you savor locally-sourced fare and award-winning desserts. The Cafè at the Frick offers weekday lunch, weekend brunch and afternoon tea, and a Friday dinner menu that changes weekly. 

Advance lunch and tea reservations are available for members only. Dinner and same-day reservations are available to both members and non-members. Call 412-371-0600. Walk-ins are welcome as space permits.
