The Frick Strategic Plan: 2017–2022 and Beyond

In December 2016 the Board of Trustees of The Frick Pittsburgh approved a new five-year strategic plan: 2017-22 and Beyond.

The strategic plan is available for download (PDF) — click below.

The result of a two-year planning process that was driven by the goals of redefining the institution’s guiding vision and values, establishing robust and measurable strategies for the next five years, and laying the groundwork for the next 25 years, the strategic plan emphasizes three equal and interwoven components of the unique experience offered by the Frick: Art, History and Nature. These components underpin the core ideology, five strategies and mission statement.

CORE IDEOLOGY
The power of art to inspire and educate,
The power of the past to inform the future,
The power of beauty and place.

CORE VISION
To translate these powers into everyday lives.

CORE VALUES
Distinctive
Personalized
Authentic
Excellent

MISSION
Continuing the legacy of Helen Clay Frick, we will offer one of the best experiences of art, history, and nature, in a welcoming environment that inspires and delights.
