THE FRICK PITTSBURGH UPDATE
While the majority of our site remains open, The Frick Art Museum is temporarily closed while we replace the fire alarm system. You can still explore Clayton, the Catching Sunbeams greenhouse exhibition, the Car and Carriage Museum, the Café at the Frick, and the grounds during regular hours, Tuesday – Sunday. The museum will reopen on August 1, 2025.
Café Closed on 6/12
The Café at the Frick will be closed for regular business on Thursday, June 12 because of a Summer Tea Series event. Carry out beverages and pastries will be available from 9:30 - 3:00.

Land Acknowledgement

The Frick Pittsburgh occupies ancestral lands of the Haudenosaunee, Lenape, Osage, and Shawnee peoples. As a place of history and nature, the Frick recognizes the cultural importance of land and the role of cultural institutions in the formation of collective memory. Displacement and erasure are not just histories for native peoples. Land acknowledgements, like historic sites themselves, are exercises in preservation and reconciliation, engaged with past, present, and future.
