Online Ticketing System FAQ

Starting in January 2026, The Frick Pittsburgh will be transitioning to a new ticketing system. This new system is an important step forward for us to continue streamlining the ticket-buying process for visitors as you grab tickets to your favorite Frick attractions like our award-winning Gilded, Not Golden tour and upcoming exhibitions.

As we navigate this transition, please refer to this FAQ page to get answers to some of your questions. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, please direct additional questions to info@thefrickpittsburgh.org.

We know that a smooth and enjoyable visit to the Frick often starts when you're purchasing your ticket online. This new system is an important step forward for us to continue streamlining the ticket-buying process for visitors while also improving internal efficiency for the organization.

The official changeover will occur the week of January 12, with a planned launch of January 15 — in time for you to buy tickets for our spring exhibition, Lewis Hine Pictures America!

If you have purchased a ticket with us through the old system in the past, you most likely have an account with us in our new system! Starting on January 15, when you are ready to buy a ticket, the same email you used to buy tickets in the old system should be able to get you into your new account. Once you enter your email in the new system, you will be prompted to reset your password. If you don’t have an account, no worries! You can check out as a guest or create an account when you want to make a future purchase.

Yes! You can view and access your upcoming tickets online if you create an account. Please note that only tickets purchased from January 15, 2026 onwards will appear in the new ticketing system.
Yes! When you reserve tickets online, you will receive mobile tickets that can be added to your phone's mobile wallet for seamless check-in upon your arrival at The Grable Visitor Center.
