Real Art. Real History. Real Learning.

The Frick Art & Historical Center presents a full schedule of programs all year long that stress hands-on, interactive learning. From the items in Clayton that were part of the Frick family’s day-to-day lifestyle, to the carriages and motorcars that embody the history of transportation, our programs provide collaborative experiences and encourage deductive reasoning and critical thinking for all ages.

Offer your students more than a virtual experience this year, and come to the Frick! Our hands-on learning programs are teacher-friendly, address academic standards and use art and history as tools for understanding different cultures and contexts. Frick programs connect across the curriculum, integrating writing, science and even economics to broaden student perspectives.

We offer a full schedule of things for families to do all-year-round, from exhibitions, educational programs and tours to special family events. Return to this page often, and stay up to date.

The collections at the Frick Art & Historical Center encompass a wide variety of fine and decorative arts, cars, carriages, buildings and other items related to the Frick family’s life in Pittsburgh.
