FREE Family Fun Day

Saturday, September 7

11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

One hundred years ago when Childs and Helen Frick were young, people would have laughed at the idea of couch potatoes. Children’s days were filled with activity and outdoor play. Here’s your chance to get moving for an energetic day of participating in old-fashioned games and playful physical challenges.

Come ready for fun: we’ll provide the equipment for badminton, croquet, sack races, ring toss and hoop rolling. Skip through our custom hopscotch boards, and take a trip through our wacky obstacle course. Pick up copies of our Hop, Skip and Jump through Time activity guide and learn as you move across our 5.5 acres of beautiful, tree-shaded lawns. Rediscover the joys of simply having fun together outside!

In addition to the fun, family-friendly outdoor activities, you can view the exhibition
Clayton Days | Revisited: A Project by Vik Muniz and strike a Victorian pose while having your very own "vintage" photo taken in a special retro photo booth! Also tour Clayton, the historic home of the Henry Clay Frick family, at your own pace.
