Join the Frick’s Executive Director, Elizabeth Barker, Ph.D., for a very special evening reading a selection of masterpieces featured in Vermeer, Monet, and Rembrandt: Forging the Frick Collections in Pittsburgh & New York. Through guided close looking and discussion, participants will dive deep into the subjects, style, techniques, and meanings of several great paintings, and emerge with a deeper understanding of these works—and with some new techniques for deciphering art. Ticket price includes a light reception. Advance registration and pre-payment required.
