Study the old masters in an intimate setting! All participants will have the opportunity to sketch in the Vermeer, Monet, Rembrandt exhibition alongside the Frick’s teaching artists.
This program will begin on The Frick Art Museum terrace at 5:30 pm with an hour-long social gathering including drinks and light bites. From 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, participants will then sketch in The Frick Art Museum galleries while the museum is closed to the public.
Sketch paper and graphite pencils will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own supplies on condition that that sketchbooks and paper are 18” x 24” or smaller and writing utensils are graphite pencil only.
New and experienced artists will work with the Frick’s teaching artists during monthly hands-on workshops. Each session includes drinks, light bites, and all materials needed for the art activity.
Each ticket includes drinks and light bites, plus the materials necessary for artmaking. Due to this being a one-of-a-kind experience and a solitary form of artmaking, we are not offering bundled tickets for this workshop.
