Symphony of Nature: Winter Sound Bath Concert

This 75-minute “deep listening” meditation with Brooke’s beautifully harmonious crystal bowls invites you to slow down, reset your seasonal rhythm, and renew your connection to yourself at the start of the year.

The concert will be held in the auditorium, with participants in a seated, upright position. Following the performance, stay for a relaxed Q&A with Brooke to learn more about her instruments, her compositions, and the practice and benefits of sound healing, as well as the energy and intentions behind this season’s winter/new moon theme.

Arrive early to explore Winterfest activities across the Frick campus — stroll the grounds, enjoy seasonal offerings, and soak in the festive atmosphere — before settling in for this unique opportunity for deep relaxation and renewal.

What is a Sound Bath?

Sound Bath Concerts are sometimes called “Inner Eye Concerts,” as participants close their eyes for a “deep listening” journey. The crystal bowls create both an ambient sonic and visceral vibrational experience. You don’t just hear the sound, you feel it.

Using a two-octave array of custom Pythagorean-tuned quartz crystal bowls, Brooke’s compositions generate dynamic “sound forms” that unfold like a moving, liquid sonic landscape. The experience heightens auditory awareness, calms the nervous system, and opens a meditative state.
