Description:

Growing food shouldn’t be limited to raised beds or traditional garden plots. Foodscaping beautifully integrates edible plants into ornamental landscapes, creating spaces that are both visually striking and deeply productive. In this session, participants will learn how to make thoughtful, informed decisions when planning or enhancing a garden — whether starting fresh or reimagining an existing space.

We’ll explore creative ways to incorporate food producing crops beyond standard row gardens and raised beds. And for those already growing in raised beds or containers, we’ll share tips for adding design flair and visual appeal to those spaces as well.

Participants will gain practical strategies for using color, texture, and plant height to create visual interest with edibles. They will also learn how to blend fruits, vegetables, herbs, and ornamentals into cohesive, seasonally attractive planting — elevating both beauty and productivity.
