Description:

Inspired by the craftsmanship and labor depicted in Lewis Hine Pictures America, this workshop gives all participants an opportunity to design and carve a bowl that will be cast in solid aluminum. Co-presented with Rivers of Steel’s metal arts team and held at the historic Carrie Blast Furnace, all participants will leave with a new, functional work of art. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided. This program is 18+. No experience is needed.

 

Advanced registration and pre-payment required. Program takes place at Carrie Blast Furnace; participants are responsible for their own transportation. Exhibition admission not included.
