As The Scandinavian Home: Landscape and Lore comes to a close, the Frick is excited to partner with FET-FISK, a Nordic-influenced seafood restaurant & bar in Bloomfield, to provide an exclusive discussion and tasting with chef and owner, Nik Forsberg, and creative director, Sarah LaPonte. FET-FISK will provide small bites for tasting and share stories about the inspiration and creative process behind the menu. The talk and tasting will be followed by exclusive after-hours access to the exhibition.

 

The evening will feature a prix fixe small-bite tasting menu; substitutions are not available.

About FET-FISK

FET-FISK was a 2025 James Beard Finalist for Best New Restaurant. Originating in 2019 as a pop-up only dining experience, FET-FISK opened a brick-and-mortar location in Bloomfield in 2024. Highlighting regional produce and sustainably sourced seafood and meat, FET-FISK offers a high-end dining experience and cuisine in a nostalgic and accessible form.
