Join us on the Frick’s historic great lawn for a fall sing-along screening of the original Mamma Mia!, the sun-soaked, ABBA-packed musical that stole hearts around the world.
Advance registration and pre-payment recommended, but walk-ups are always welcome!
Upon arrival, check in at the Grable Visitor Center. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic-style refreshments. Open seating on the lawn is first-come, first-served.
We encourage attendees to arrive no earlier than 7:00 p.m. The screening begins at 8:00 p.m. and runs 1 hour and 50 minutes — plenty of time to get settled as the sun sets!
In case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled for Thursday, September 11, at 8:00 p.m. On that date, the event will be held outdoors if conditions allow, or indoors in our auditorium in the event of rain.
We had the time of our lives with Grease this summer and now we’re saying "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" one more chance to sing under the stars before the season ends.
Join us on the Frick’s historic great lawn for a fall sing-along screening of the original Mamma Mia!, the sun-soaked, ABBA-packed musical that stole hearts around the world. Bring your blankets, your besties, and your boldest vocals because this night is all about joy, dancing, and singing your heart out. Donna and the Dynamos outfits encouraged!
Live sing-along leadership by members of the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale.
Whether you’re a dancing queen, a super trouper, or just need a little ABBA therapy, don’t miss this musical escape before the leaves fall.
The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale (PCC) is the city and region's premiere large all-volunteer choir. Under Music Director Dr. Susan Medley's leadership, the choir strives to sing a variety of genres at the highest level of artistic excellence. The choir supports the musical education of high school singers through its annual Festival of Choirs at Oakland's Carnegie Music Hall and makes community appearances at venues such as the Fort Pitt Fourth of July ceremony. PCC has performed locally, regionally, and internationally, including tours to Italy, Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
