The Café at the Frick will be closed for regular business on Thursday, September 11 because of a Summer Tea Series event. Carry out beverages and pastries will be available from 9:30 - 3:00.

Description:

Get in the spooky spirit with a fall beverage and explore the macabre, haunting history of Pittsburgh’s East End on a guided walk of The Frick Pittsburgh’s grounds. From Pittsburgh’s link to the “crime of the century” to the real life origins of the city’s most enduring urban legends, discover the darker side of the East End. Following the tour, each attendee will receive a sweet treat to take home.

 

Tickets for this program must be purchased in advance; tickets will not be available at the door. Two drink vouchers are included; must be 21+ for alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages are also available. Tour participants are welcome (and encouraged) to bring their beverage along on the site walk. The site walk will take approximately 90 minutes. The site walk takes place outdoors, rain or shine and the tour route is wheelchair accessible.

 

This event is also being held on Friday, October 10.

Looking to put your spooky knowledge to good use? Stories from Spooky Spirits will be featured as trivia questions for Trivia Night at the Frick on October 24. Space is limited; advance registration required.
