Symphony of Nature Concert: Soundbathing and Stargazing

featuring guest performers: The Cicadas

Experience a serene summer evening with a special outdoor sound bath timed to the stillness of the August new moon and dark skies. This immersive sonic journey invites you to slow down, listen deeply, and attune to the rhythms of the natural world - above and all around you. As twilight fades into night, settle in under the open sky for a meditative blend of crystal bowls and the ambient chorus of summer, including the gentle, rhythmic presence of cicadas. Together, sound and setting create a uniquely grounding and expansive experience.

Guests are encouraged to bring a mat, blanket, or lawn chair and get comfortable on the lawn. Feel free to arrive 30 minutes early to wander the grounds, take in the setting sun, and ease into the experience.

The 75-minute program will be followed by a brief Q&A with the artist.

What is a Sound Bath Experience?

It is said that the crystal bowls generate both an ambient and visceral vibration experience. Brooke's compositions intentionally produce an "acoustic alchemy" of Pythagorean tunings and musical mathematics that generate unique sound forms and colorful, textured soundscapes. The sonic experience encourages an increased auditory awareness and "deep listening" and induces a relaxed and meditative state.
