Free; advanced registration requested.
Description:
Join us online to explore the natural world through story, artmaking, and a kid-friendly yoga experience! We will create a buzzing instrument to follow along with a bee's journey from field to flower, then translate the bee's movement to our own bodies through a yoga practice. The morning will finish with an art project designed to invite a closer look at the habitats of bees and other wild creatures. Most appropriate for children ages 5 through 10.

Bonus activity: Plant-at-Home Kit
Pickup at the Frick from 12:00–2:00 p.m.

Our friends at Grow Pittsburgh have joined the Frick in creating 100 plant-at-home kits for families. Children can plant peas, beans, and chives, and decorate their pots with special art materials provided. These kits are available for free for the first 100 children registered. Please be sure to register for one kit for every child in your family. Note: You do NOT need the plant-at-home kit to participate in the virtual family event.
